Are you ready to power up your career? We’re looking for a sharp Financial Accountant to join our Norwegian finance team, playing a pivotal role in managing the financial landscape for our Norwegian legal and group entities. You'll dive into both day-to-day accounting and help shape the future of our global finance function. You’ll master the monthly and year-end financial close processes, ensuring everything runs like clockwork. But that’s just the start! From streamlining accounting processes to managing cash forecasting and VAT filings, your work will help keep our Norwegian entities running smoothly. Alongside our Finance Manager and global team, you’ll also contribute to shaping our accounting policies across the group.
Closing and reporting. Provide a leading contribution to the monthly and year-end financial close, including journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals preparation and analysis versus prior periods as well as budgets and forecasts. Additionally you will contribute towards cash forecasting and submission of VAT and other statutory tax declarations for our Norwegian entities.
Accounting policies/procedures. You will, along with the Finance Manager and our global team develop policies and instructions to be followed by both the Norwegian and group entities. You will be a part of ensuring that group policies and instructions are adhered to.
End-to-end process ownership. You will develop, enhance and maintain control processes to ensure that accounting is complete and accurate. Along with the team you will coordinate the approval process for external invoices and employee travel expenses, making sure we have the relevant supporting documents - You also contribute to the intercompany invoicing (Transfer Pricing) processing and reconciliations between entities.
Stakeholder management. We see stakeholder management as a critical part of our role in finance. We are looking for effective communicators who strive to work in a structured and transparent environment. This applies equally to both external and internal stakeholders. You will play a key role in communicating with stakeholders such as our auditors, tax authorities, country managers, and many more internally.

Qualified Accountant : You’re a certified accountant in Norway (or equivalent) with strong experience in compliance, audits, and statutory filings. Norwegian GAAP is second nature to you, and IFRS knowledge is a plus.
Flexible Industry Experience : While we value energy sector experience, we’re open to anyone from fast-growing industries who can bring relevant skills to the table.
Efficiency Expert : You’re a master of process improvement, always finding ways to optimize and streamline operations.
Tech-Savvy : Comfortable with accounting tools and ERP systems? Great! Experience with NetSuite would be the cherry on top.
